Duties and Responsibilities: Occupational medicine is a type of medicine that deals with the prevention and treatment of injuries and diseases occurring while people are at their job. This involves returning injured workers to health and gainful employment in their chosen occupation. These physicians must have a general knowledge of work site operations. They must be able to diagnose and treat the workers efficiently.

Salary: $170,000 - $240,000,

Education Requirements: Residency program, Board certification, Bachelor's degree, Undergrad work in Biology, Must have experience in the healthcare setting

Demand for this profession: Declining

Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why? Why not? I would not like to become a occupational medicine physician because I would not be interested in the job. I would rather work in a hospital.
