Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities: Nursing home provide all day care for injured or ill patients, usually for the elderly who may not be able to take care of themselves. The Nursing Home Administrator supervises all the staff to make sure  they are accomplishing their job to the best of their ability. Their nursing home is in charge of disabled and injured people who need assistance and care. The Administrators must oversee patient admissions, financial planning, and personnel management.

Salary: $87,000 - $119,000

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Pass the NAB test, an M.H.A

Demand or Need for this Profession: to grow by 23% by 2020

Reflection: Would you like to become one? Why? Why not? I would not like to become a Nursing Home Administrator because it would not be a job I would find interesting. It is more of an office job full of monitoring and administration, I find no interest in sitting at a desk all day.
