  I do not agree with Rachel Castillo because nothing in life is that simple. The reason most of us do not lead perfect lives is because of the circumstances that are given to us. It is superficial to believe that always doing the right thing is simple and easy. If living our lives were really that simple more people would be happy and the world would be a better place. I also believe that we should be in charge of our own lives and whether we take care of ourselves.  You cannot expect good karma for the rest of your life, waiting for your "prize." Who determines what is the "right" or "wrong" way anyways? Sometimes we make the wrong choices, and sometimes it is okay. As long as you learn from them and make it up by doing better things. Who is Rachel Castillo? I have never heard of her ever?? Life does what it wants, we cannot control what it gives us.

Neurosurgeons

Duties and Responsibilities: Neurosurgeons are physicians who perform surgery on the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. The may do the surgery to remove tumors, relieve chronic pain, and treat wounds. They may also treat vascular disorders/ diseases like Parkinson's or epilepsy. They treat disorders like scoliosis and degenerative spine disorder. They must have steady hands and the ability to perform microsurgery and other advanced and delicate equipment. 

Salary: $410,000-$750,000 

Education Requirements: Doctorate in medicine, 6-8 yr residency, 1 year internship, License and Certification 

Demand: To grow by 24%

 

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? I would like to become a neurosurgeon if my hands were steady enough for the position. It seems to be a difficult and respectable job that earns a lot of money so... *shrugs*
