Duties and Responsibilities: Medical assistants mainly take medical histories for patients and record vital signs of patients. Their job is to complete administrative and clinical tasks in a office, they may do these tasks for; physicians, hospitals, and other health care facilities. They may also be called medical secretaries or medical office assistants. Medical assistants may also inject medications, vaccines, or other injections under physician supervision. Some may even work as phlebotomy technicians, which means their primary job is to collect blood samples.
Salary: $25,000 - $40,000

Reflection: Would you like to become one? Why? Why not? I would not like t ob ecome a medical assistant because I would like to have a job that is more interesting than doing paperwork for a doctor in an office all day. Medical assistants do seem like they are very important for doctors to provide the most efficiant care.
