Health Educator
Duties and responsibilities: Health Educators are people who promote the wellness of others, they teach people ways to better their health. They can work on an individual scale or even help a community with their knowledge. They work with the patient to provide a strategy to benefit their health that is the best for them. Most health educators work in hospitals, non-profit organizations,colleges, and even doctor's offices.

Salary: $39,000-$45,000

Education: Bachelor's Degree, CHES credential, and on-the-job training

Demand or need for this profession: to grow by 21% in ten years


Reflection: Do you think you would like to become one? Why? Why not? I would like to become a health educator because I would love to be able to encourage and assist my community or anybody to become a healthier person. It seems nice to be able to help people and help them figure out the best plan that works for them.
