Video Game Designer
Duties and responsibilities: Video Game designers code and program visual effects in games. They can create complicated 3D characters using modeling programs and animation software. They must be able to create a real version of the game's concept and story line. The art and characters must work with the story-board so that it enhances the story, the player has to feel part of the story and using visuals helps with that. Video Game Designers must also check for any bugs or glitches in the game. These people have to test out the game themselves to see if anything has to be re-coded or if there are any flaws in the game. Video Game Designers work in groups to be able to create games that are coordinated in their stories and their visuals. Part of the group may only work in create the backgrounds and scenery for the game while the other work on character design or focusing on the animation.Salary: $45,000-$90,000
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in game design/computer science, high school diploma, experience with 3D modeling and software programs.

Reflection: Would you like to become one? Why? Why not? I would like to become a video game designer because I am interested in a job that both has me able to work in coding and programming, as well as animation and art. I would like to be able to be a part of a game and create a story that can be shown beautifully with visuals to the game players.
