Chiropractor

Duties and Responsibilities: Chiropractors are specially skilled doctors who work with back/musculoskeletal system injuries and/or disorders by using treatments or therapies. Chiropractors also work with the nervous system. Patients move for a chiropractor when they want a solution to their injuries and disorders that  requires no surgery or drugs. Some Chiropractors open up their own practice or be involved in a health care facility or a group practice. Newer Chiropractic physicians can also get a partnership with an established Chiropractor to become more familiar with their new career.

Salary: $118,000-$192,000

Education: Bachelor’s Degree,Chiropractic College, 4 year Doctoral graduate program, Undergrad school.

Demand for this Profession: The demand for alternatives to health care is growing, yes the demand for Chiropractors is going up.

Reflection:Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? I would like to become a Chiropractor because It would be good for me to go into a career that will be in a high demand and that will offer people a great alternative to inaccessible health-care. It would be good to educate people on the best ways to take care of themselves and how their injuries and disorders may be treated and/or cured without any surgeries or drugs.
