"What you are as a person is far more important then what you are as a basketball player."-John Wooden
I agree with John wooden because it doesn't matter what your career is if you are not a good person. Being a good and respectable person is far more important than being a basketball player. It is better to be appreciated for being a great person than for your career because you are more than your career, whether you wan't people to define you as only by your job is up to you. Even if you are good a a job you would have less of a chance of getting it if you don't act like a respectable being. You could be the most famous athlete in the world, but you won't be able to really appreciate everything you've done if you don't do good things, being well-rounded feels better than just being great at one thing. You have to treat others the way you would want to be treated, you have to act like a good person especially if you are a role model for many people. You should be proud of everything you do, not just one thing in your life, what you are as a person defines you, not your career or any one thing in your life.
