"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."-Pathros
In this quote, I believe true wealth means happiness, "...not of the purse." meaning that money is not the true wealth. Money may not be able to buy happiness, but it still is a necessity in life. In this quote happiness is called the "true wealth", meaning that it is better than money, and i agree. If you are happy with what you have, then great! If you are not happy with what you have, then it is your job to change it for the better. You get happiness through actions and being the best you can be, earning what you want in life. Working hard gives you happiness, money can only make you happy for a small time, people are happier and prouder of themselves when they work hard for something and they achieve their goal. Lets say you really want't to be in a sports team, you think it will be great, so you try your best by practicing and playing daily, but the you decide it is too hard and decide to try a different approach. You get on the sports team, but because of the wrong reasons. Do you really feel happy after that? Doing it fair and square gives you something that cheating can't, satisfaction, self-confidence, and happiness. The best way to be happy is to do your best and to never give up on what you're dreaming of.The quote is basically saying that if you follow your heart you will get the greatest thing of all, happiness.
