Obedience
"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have,"-Boyd K. Packer
More or less what Packer says is true, obeying to your parents leads to you being responsible, the more responsible you are, the more freedom you will get.
Obeying to come home at 10:30 or obeying to wash the dishes is simple enough, might as well do it, especially if you'll get more privileges later on. Obeying to your teachers and bosses can also lead to freedom. If you pass all your classes by doing what you're told, you will get to graduate and move on with your life. Getting out of high school is enough freedom, at lest until you start college or a job. Just make sure that when you do what you're told that other people won't be harmed by your actions. Obeying someone in jail or in a gang is probably a really bad idea anyway. If you do your work well in college you will get the job(s) you've always wanted, and you get to follow the career of your choice. Once you get older you get to make your own decisions, being obedient helps you make some decisions. It is true that you get more privileges if you're obedient, other people would appreciate that and you and will like to give you the freedom you deserve.
